Gladys Wood Elementary School in Alaska is undergoing a $17 million renovation that will touch almost every part of the aging school facility and includes an addition with four new classrooms. Systems, roofs and boilers are nearing the end of their useful life. Just like any homeowners, those systems and equipment need to be maintained

Project: Gladys Wood Elementary School, Alaska

Designer: MCG Architects

Contractor: Consolidated Enterprises

Membrane: 90 mil EPDM fully adhered to OSB.

Roof Insulation: Tapered Insulfoam EPS (type II) adhered over mechanically fastened base layer of Insulfoam EPS (type II).

Application: all roofing and reproofing applications. Tapered panels used for increasing slope for additional drainage
